Glossy Ibis Just Next Door

Imagine this. It is a little outside the Quoddy Region, but it is really special.

Jim Wilson just posted some bird sightings to NB Natures Listserv, including the following:

And finally, as we came to Bloomfield on the Kennebecasis River we found a handsome GLOSSY IBIS (Ibis falcinelle) feeding in the flooded field on the north side of the road and the west side of the river, between the steel and covered bridges. The bird was striking in the evening sun and I checked it
very carefully for the possibility of it being a White-faced. But definitely no - the bird had a dark eye and a blue-black face that rules out any possibility.
