The "Mad Blogger" of Fredericton Captures Fundy's Beauty at Quoddy

No videos or pictures in your ILQW email? See them at http://ilovequoddywild.blogspot.com

For those of you who haven't visited Charles Leblanc at his blog, this is a man who takes on real issues as well as real politicians and authority figures in Fredericton and around New Brunswick. Often outrageous, never boring, Charles went flying with Tim Foulkes and captured the essence of Charlotte County beauty in one flight! Check it out here: http://charlesotherpersonality.blogspot.com/2009/10/activist-tim-foulkes-spends-day-with.html

Bay of Fundy Morning Glories - Beauty from the Air!

No videos or pictures in your ILQW email? See them at http://ilovequoddywild.blogspot.com

I was late getting up but there were still some opportunities. Lots more where they came from when you have time! The photo ops in the area, apart from these, filled my chip. The old saying, "my cup runneth over" has new meaning.

So much beauty, - just foolin' around!

Aerial photo of Southern Campobello

Although the focus of this composite aerial photo is the southern tip of Campobello and the Roosevelt Campobello International Park, the composite also shows much of Herring Cove Provincial Park. Note the many, lighter-colored, brownish-green sphagnum bogs within the boundaries of the two parks. In wooded areas, the lighter greens are predominantly hardwoods; the darker greens predominantly spruce and fir.

Cozy Quoddy in Winter

This recent aerial from Tim Foulkes shows all of our fabulous Quoddy area. Left to right along the horizon is Deer Island, Campobello,Lubec, Eastport and the Maine shore. St. Andrews is at the end of the peninsula. The large white area on the left is Chamcook Lake and Little Chamcook . Simpson Hill is left foreground and the contentious quarry is right foreground.

We are certainly all packed into this cozy and special corner of the world! Thanks Tim.
