The "Blooms" show in St Andrews last Saturday was, at least from my perspective, very successful as I was given not only a wonderful collection of fine photos to work with, (over 100 in all), but a new, finer appreciation of both our local wild flowers and the art of photographing them.
Here is one taken in the rain this morning of our provincial flower, the blue violet. It may be wet out, but our green spaces with all their trees, flowers and other wild life, love it.
Protect it and enjoy! Not every one, to our everlasting shame, does.
