Lots of gannets after mackeral in Head Harbour passage today. Along with them were minke whales and eagles, regular gulls and cormorants.Head Harbour passage and the area around the lighthouse is a very rich and wild place and the birds and whales and porpoise are very active all the time here. It is important to respect this diversity because it is a foundation for our economic survival, not to mention the survival of a way of life.
