Today on my day off I jumped aboard a fishing boat going to Northeast  Bank. For those that don't know where that is it is 30 miles south of Seal Cove Grand Manan.A brief summary of birds follows,

Gannets 35
Greater Shearwater 400-many
Sooty's 20
Manx 8
Fulmar 1
Puffins 60=20
Murres 45
Razorbills 20
Red Phalarope2
Wilsons Storm Petrel 250
Leaches Storm Petrel 1200-1500(cons) have never seen anywhere this many.  Flocks of petrels resting on the water would take to the air and would  all be Leaches.

15 Humpback Whales

Not a bad day for a day off.
