BIRDS: Timberdoodles at Campobello, Bay of Fundy

Hi Art,

Thought you and others might be interested in the attached images of woodcock, also called timberdoodles and mudhens.  A nice sign that spring has finally come to Campobello, the two birds were just off the Glensevern Road.  Glensevern Road is getting a bit soft, so visitors to Herring Cove Provincial Park or Roosevelt Campobello International Park may want to put off driving that road until mud season is over.  It won’t be long and the coltsfoot will be blooming.
