Subject: Today's Hawks

Today's counts from the Greenlaw Mountain Hawk Watch.

3 Osprey
2 Bald Eagle
8 Sharp-shinned Hawk
12 broad-winged Hawk
1 Red-tailed Hawk
1 Northern Harrier
1 American Kestrel
1 Merlin
2 Unidentified Raptors

Notes; Local Bald Eagle, Osprey, American Kestrel, Merlin and Sharp- shinned Hawk were observed.

Todays birds came in a slow trickle.

Highlight of the day was an adult male Northern Harrier that soared  over the watch for several minutes providing very nice looks.

Tomorrow: SW winds and clear skies.
