Two independant people, one on the Deer Island and Campobello ferry and one person feeding fish deep in Head Harbour Passage, told me that there were many minkes and two finback in HHPassage yesterday.. One minke breached many times with its whole body out of water, turning and twisting in the air. The ferry stopped to let the passengers see the show. Lew said the minke breached 20 or more times, Bobby said it breached 50 times. Take your pick. Could it be sharks? Joyce, Aug. 14th
