Help Needed .... Have You Seen This Bird?

We've been telling the world how rich and vital Quoddy really is and it seems to be working! People are coming from around the world to check our blogs I Love Quoddy Wild and Fundy whale. Take a look at the Feedjit traffic map. It`s amazing.

So jump on board and become a contributor! All you need to do is send us an email from a cell phone or computer. Attach one or two photos of wildlife, plants, water, earth, or sky along with your written words and email to: artmackay.ilovequoddywild at blogger.com. The subject line is the title of your post and the body is the text.

No photo? Then just send a text message or email about what you saw and where it was. It's as simple as that and important too.

The red-necked phalarope is just one species that we need information about. It`s an important species that feeds on the same food as north Atlantic right whales. We think it's the "canary" of right whale survival and it`s been coming back to Head Harbour Passage in recent years after a decade of virtual absence. This is a really good sign, so please let us know if you see them! We're mapping their occurrence and distribution in the Bay.
