We had hooded mergansers on Campobello Dec.28th in Wilson's Beach with other mergansers. Photo enclosed. There were four of them. I usually see hooded mergansers on the way to St. Stephen in the early spring. They are in the boggy areas along the railroad track just before the town of Calais.
