Whales, Porpoise in Head Harbour Passage

Location: Head Harbour Light Station, Campobello Island, NB
GPS Coordinates:
Date Taken: Various 2008
Time Taken:
Phtographer: Joyce Morrell
Comments: When the whales arrive it is a spectacular show. With the whales come the herring, mackerel, gannets, eagles and anything that depends upon the fish. The stream of whales and porpoise through this narrow, rich passage is constant. This small area feeds many species, including ours (with whale watching). It needs respect and protection to keep it a living place.
A selection of things from the set
