New Monarch Butterfly Garden

Monarch Caterpiller on Milkweed
Originally uploaded by Art MacKay

Today we discovered 7 or more Monarch caterpillars on a single milkweed plant in our beautiful garden at Bocabec, NB. Looks like a whole new milkweed garden next year.

We'll keep you posted if we see more developments. The caterpillars are supposed to last 2 weeks when they pupate. Two weeks later the adults emerge. Should be interesting!!!

  1. I bred these beauties in my yute. Very satisfying for sure. I am planning to plant a Milkweed garden for next year as well. Jay
