Bay of Fundy Hawk Watch at Greenlaw Mountain

Subject: Todays Hawks

Today was the first day of observation at the Greenlaw Mountain Hawk  
Watch. The following birds were sighted.

5 Sharp-shinned Hawks
12 Broad-winged Hawks
3 American Kestrels
1 Merlin

Also observed were several local Bald Eagles, Osprey, Kestrels and  
Turkey Vultures.

A Merlin, several Kestrel and a Sharp-shinned Hawk perched on some of  
the nearby snags providing excellent looks.

Richard Tarn was an official observer.
